Create public status pages to communicate with your users.
Status pages are public-facing dashboards that show the real-time operational status of your services. They provide transparency to your users about service availability, ongoing incidents, and planned maintenance.
Status pages build trust with users by providing transparency, reduce support tickets during outages, and demonstrate your commitment to service reliability.
Live updates showing current service status with automatic refresh.
Complete timeline of past incidents with detailed updates.
Historical uptime data with charts and percentages.
Customize colors, logos, and styling to match your brand.
1
Select a subdomain or custom domain for your status page.
Example: status.yourcompany.com
2
Choose which monitors to display on your status page.
3
Configure branding, colors, and layout to match your brand.
4
Make your status page live and share the URL with your users.
Your status page will be available at: https://stackwatch.net/status/your-username
Run your status page on your own domain for a professional, branded experience.
1
Go to Status Pages in your dashboard, edit your status page, and add your domain name in the Custom Domain field.
2
Create a CNAME record pointing your domain to our status endpoint.
status.yourdomain.com CNAME status.stackwatch.net.
3
Once DNS propagates (usually within minutes), we automatically provision a free SSL certificate via Let's Encrypt. Your status page will be available at https://status.yourdomain.com
Custom domains only work with subdomains (e.g., status.yourdomain.com). Apex domains (yourdomain.com) are not supported for CNAME records by most DNS providers.
Always be honest about issues and provide clear, jargon-free updates.
Keep users informed with frequent updates during incidents.
Use simple, clear language that non-technical users can understand.
